Ricerami?! Rice and pepperami! Why not?
Ingedients:
- 2 turkey burgers
- 1 pack of bacon
- 1 pepperami
- 1 red pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 pasta sauce
- 2 family sized microwavable rice sachets
Method:
- Preheat open at around 220. Place turkey burgers on an oven tray and leave for ten minutes.
- Slice bacon, onion, pepper and pepperami and add to a frying pan. Place pan on cooker at medium temperature and leave to fry.
- Following instructions on microwavable rice, put them in the microwave.
- Remove turkey burgers and ensure they are properly cooked (white in the middle), then slice into small strips and add to frying pan.
- Remove rice from microwave and either place portions of rice onto plate or tip rice into cooking pot and place on top of oven next to frying pan.
- Ensure bacon is cooked then open pasta sauce and add whole jar to frying pan. Stir well until all contents of frying pan are covered in sauce.
- Either add onto portions of rice or tip frying pan into cooking pot of rice and stir until all is covered in sauce. Enjoy.
Serves – 2- 4 people.
