The Ritz Christmas deal

If you fancy a cheap christmas meal this holiday season The Ritz has the deal for you

The deal – Christmas dinner and any drink for £7
Rating – 3/5

The Christmas meal consisted of turkey, brussel sprouts, peas, carrots and a Yorkshire pudding. The free drink was a choice of any drink soft or alcoholic.

The meal came to us after about 30 minutes of waiting my first impression of the meal was that there wasn’t much there. You had a small pile of carrots and peas and sprouts and one Yorkshire pudding.  I don’t usually eat peas and brussel sprouts but these had been so over done that they had lost all flavour.

The turkey looked very processed it came in a pile of three slices which were all perfectly round as if it have been squeezed out of tube and then sliced up on the plate. The taste wasn’t bad but you could easily tell that it wasn’t real turkey.

On the upside the dinner came out very hot and came with an option to go large for an extra £1.99 also the potatoes were soft and crispy.

The atmosphere of the pub was great with Christmas decorations and music playing perfect for getting you in the mood for the holiday season.
