Traditional italina pasta dish, which is easy to do
Ingredients:
- 2 onions
- mushrooms
- 2 red peppers
- 2 tins chopped tomatos
- 2 tins baked beans
- garlic
- salt and pepper
- lasagne sheets
- 168g cheese
Method:
- Chop all the veg, spray frying pan or wok. Put onion, peppers, mushrooms & garlic in & fry for 5 mins.
- Add the tomatos, baked beans, salt & pepper & simmer through.
- Layer in a lasagne dish with lasagne sheets-finishing with the bean mixture on top.
- Cover with foil & bake in over for 30/40 mins, take out of the oven and put the grated cheese on top.
- Put back in the oven (foil off) until the cheese has melted.
- Maybe add a bit of Worcestershire sauce to give it a bit of kick.
