Steak

Ingredients:

  • Steak
  • ¼ Onion (sliced)
  • 5 Baby button mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2-3 knobs of butter
  • Palm full of parsley
  • Pinch of salt
  • Tablespoon of oil
  • 5 New potatoes
  • 3 cup full’s of peas

Method:

  1. Season the steak with the parsley and salt.
  2. Add the butter and the oil to a frying pan and let them melt.
  3. Add the steak to the to pan
  4. After about 5 minutes turn the steak over and cook the other side
  5. Added half a pan full of boiling water to a pan and add the peas and potatoes to the water.
  6. After another 5 minutes turn the steak back over and add the sliced mushrooms and onions to the pan.
  7. Keep turning the steak until it’s cooked. Then cut into the steak to check the colour. When the colours right take it off the hob and drain the juices.
  8. Drain off the water from the vegetable pan and then add a knob of butter to melt over the potatoes.
  9. Then serve up and add your favourite sauce to the dish.
