The University Atrium - Fry Up

"If you are a student of the university of Lincoln then you have probably been to the Atrium" read this review on the fry ups you can get there.

Rating – 4/5

Positives – Selection of food
Negatives - Pricing

If you are a student of the university of Lincoln then you have probably been to the Atrium. This is the café in the main building where they serve all kinds of foods hot and cold and drinks.

In my first year I had a free for an hour between lecture early on a Thursday morning. This time I would spend eating a cooked breakfast from the atrium. This became known as fry up day!

The fry ups at the atrium are very good they have loads of  choices.
They provide

  •         Hash browns
  •         Sausages
  •         Bacon
  •        Fried bread
  •        Toast (with a variety of toppings)
  •         Mushrooms
  •     Beans

All of these are constantly being topped up with freshly cooked items and this goes on every morning until 11am.

The downside is the pricing there is no 10 items for £3 or anything like that each item is individually priced so its very hard to, if you are on a tight budget, plan out how much it will all cost with out a calculator handy. I had this many times where I would have £3 in my pocket and be so scared of going over and not jhavong enough money.

Otherwise their morning food is great and I would thoroughly recommend this if you have a free where you find yourself sitting around and waiting for your next lesson.
