If you're looking for a good and cheap takeaway that isn't a Pizza, Chinese or Indian, then Cactus is a good place to start. We've ordered from the takeaway a couple of times after their leaflet got pushed under the flat door.

If you are expecting the best Mexican food you have ever tasted in your life, you aren't going to find that here. Not that the food is bad but in some areas it could be better, when we've ordered we've gotten a wide selection of what they have to offer including their ribs, burritos and chimichangas.

The main problem is consistency. The first time we ordered, everyone was happy, praising the wonderful works of the chefs at Cactus. We loved their generous portion sizes considering the price we paid, it was a wonderful evening with X-factor on in the background and everyone tucking into the great tasting good. We didn't even have to wash up as we'd been provided with plate sized tinfoil trays, it was a great evening and if we'd only ordered once then Cactus would have recieved a stellar review.

Alas for poor Cactus we did not order once. The second time around it was very similar orders round the table, because if it wasn't broken then why fix it? Well the ribs before that were extremely juicy and just fell off the bone this time were dry and tough. It wasn't just the ribs, burritos couldn't be finished because they didn't taste of a burrito. It wasn't inedible and apart from that one rather nasty burrito, didn't taste awful, but the once great faith in this Mexican establishment now lay somewhat broken in tinfoil trays on the kitchen table.
